PASSENGERS spend more on duty free at Malaga Airport than any other in Spain.

Around 16.6 million people passed through the airport last year, with a third of them being British.

A study has found the high proportion of local produce was a factor in the sales, with many customers buying last minute gifts for friends and family.
Popular products range from local wines, of which 60,000 are bought each year, to of course the classic Toblerone, of which a whopping 1 million were sold last year.
