MOLLYCODDLING parents are bringing up a ‘generation of weaklings’, according to a new report from the National Trust.

The study says parents are doing their children more harm them good by not letting them get dirty with ‘risky’ activities such as climbing trees.

Interviews showed that children are now leading more sedentary lives because their parents are scared to let them go outside.

The study also finds that grandparents also have a role to play, seeing as they would have spent more time outside as children.
